Leaf Sprig
$7.98
The Leaf Sprig mini roller presses a border of upright leaf sprigs into soft clay in one smooth pass, a fine ornamental border perfect for edging bowls, plates, mugs, coasters, and tiles. Roll it around a rim or along a slab for a continuous decorative band with clean, even detail every time. It comes with an optional detachable handle add-on that clicks onto the roller for comfortable, steady rolling, and because the roller pops in and out, the same handle works across all of our mini rollers, so you only need one. Part of the Mini Rollers collection.

How to use
One Smooth MotionCommit to the roll! Use steady, even pressure in one continuous pass. Stopping or rolling back and forth can create 'ghost' images.
Use Guide RailsPlace thickness strips on either side of your slab to rest the roller handles on. This ensures the texture depth is perfectly even across the slab.
Don't StickDust your clay slab liberally with corn flour before rolling. Sticky clay is the enemy of clean texture.
Clean with a BrushClay loves to hide in texture. Use an old toothbrush and water to scrub out the pattern after use. Let it air dry.
Cool Water OnlyAlways clean with cool or lukewarm water. Hot water can weaken the material over time.
