Part of the Christmas collection. A church textured mold that presses a steeple, cross, and arched windows into clay and shapes it into a church dish. To use, dust the rolled slab with cornflour so the insert lifts away cleanly, then place the textured insert on the slab and roll over it to press the raised design into the clay. Set the outer frame on top, cut around it, and smooth the edges. Lift the slab onto a sponge, then place the textured insert back on with the free plain insert on top, and gently push each side down a little at a time so the walls rise evenly, taking extra care at the cross at the top of the steeple, both while pressing in and while removing the mold, so the fine points form cleanly. The impressed detail sits deep in the interior, pooling glaze beautifully in the recessed areas for a dramatic fired result. Perfect for seasonal platters, candy dishes, and decorative wall pieces. A free plain insert is included.

How to use

The Sponge TechniquePlace a sponge underneath your clay slab when pressing it into the mold. This sponge mold technique helps push the clay into all the intricate details of the design for clearer impressions.
Easy ReleaseDust the mold lightly with corn flour before every use. It acts as a barrier, letting the clay pop right out without sticking or tearing.
Clean with CareWipe clean with a moist cloth only. Do not submerge in water. If clay gets stuck, let it dry completely and pick it out with a needle tool.
Store Flat & DryStore molds flat in a dry location. Consistent airflow helps maintain the wood's stability and prevents warping over time.
