The Apothecary mold is a two-part press mold shaped like an old apothecary label, a paneled rectangle with notched corners and a framed inner border. The outer frame cuts your clay slab to shape and the inner frame presses over a sponge to bring out the layered frame. It makes handsome trays, soap dishes, and nameplates. Part of the Vintage Labels collection.

How to use
The Sponge TechniquePlace a sponge underneath your clay slab when pressing it into the mold. This sponge mold technique helps push the clay into all the intricate details of the design for clearer impressions.
Easy ReleaseDust the mold lightly with corn flour before every use. It acts as a barrier, letting the clay pop right out without sticking or tearing.
Clean with CareWipe clean with a moist cloth only. Do not submerge in water. If clay gets stuck, let it dry completely and pick it out with a needle tool.
Store Flat & DryStore molds flat in a dry location. Consistent airflow helps maintain the wood's stability and prevents warping over time.
